Having a Midlife Fashion Crisis
Having a Midlife Fashion Crisis
30.06.2013

As women approach their late 30s they begin to panic about their dress sense and all of a sudden feel they have nothing suitable to wear in their wardrobe. This is mostly the case with women who have children because their daughters are approaching their teens so they prefer their mums to dress classy rather than sexy. Of course women should wear what they feel happy wearing, but the general advice is that skirts and dresses should be knee length rather than short when you hit 40.  Polish up and avoid scruffy shoes, patent pointed toe heels look best. Get rid of cheap jewellery and long hair extensions to adopt a refined you in the style of Victoria Beckham  rather than Katie Price.

Our guest stylist this month is Jane from 'My Midlife Fashion' who is turning 40 soon and has adopted her style to look respectably sexy and chic and above all fashionable, Jane is a fashion blogger from the UK with a fantastic figure who describes herself as a shopping addict careering towards the big Four-O. She picks out four of her favourite Jeetly petite items and shows us how she styles them below:
